Start with the basics or go deep into expertise: courses for software developers on information security

We’re excited to share great news — we’ve updated our secure software development training programs!

At H-X Technologies, we constantly strive to provide our clients with the most relevant and effective training. Our updated Secure Software Development Basics (SSDB) and Secure Software Development Expert (SSDE) courses prove that.

What’s new in our application security training programs?

Each day of training now includes real cases. For example, in SSDB you’ll create a secure API, and in SSDE you’ll work on developing a secure multithreaded Java application.

We’ve added more material on security in Python, Java, and C. We’ve also emphasized mobile development and cloud solutions.

The updated courses now include topics on countering social engineering and OSINT basics.

Differences and similarities between the SSDB and SSDE courses

SSDB provides a solid foundation of secure development knowledge in 5 days, covering key topics such as security in Python and Java, securing APIs and mobile applications, and social engineering basics.

SSDE expands the basic knowledge to the expert level in 10 days, delving into advanced topics including security in C, cloud solutions, DevSecOps, and innovations in cybersecurity.

Despite varying lengths and depths of instruction, our SSDB and SSDE courses share a common foundation, reflecting our comprehensive approach to teaching secure software development.

Both courses are structured on a day-by-day basis and combine theory with practice. Each training day concludes with a real-world case study.

In both courses, we focus on security in the popular programming languages Python and Java, and cover the topics of mobile security and secure API development. An important part of both programs is learning how to counter social engineering.

Both courses conclude with a 35-question exam, which must be taken within 2 days of the end of the training. This is a great way to consolidate your knowledge.

The main advantage of our courses is the balance between theory and practice. We don’t just talk about security, we teach you how to apply this knowledge in real projects.

We invite you to join our updated programs and become an expert in secure software development.
